Intermediate/Senior React Front-developer
ClassRT - Canadian-based startup looking for an enthusiastic, creative front end developer who has experience with UX/UI design. The successful candidate will operate in a multi-faceted role that will serve as an opportunity for skill development, creative problem solving, and a chance to work with a cutting edge techstack. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement frontend components and functionalities using ReactJS and Redux
- Help with the designs and styles in Figma
- Collaborate with international teams or technical leaders of an international team
- Work in lean agile, teams with 1 week scrums
- Use conferencing for daily/weekly meetings
- Verify and ensure the code quality through automated testing
- Maintaining a library of reusable packages and documentation
Skills and Expertise Required:
- 3+ years Front-End and UI development experience using React framework
- Knowledge of Redux, functional components, HTML, CSS, Typescript, JavaScript, Bootstrap
- Knowledge of latest ReactJS developments. Hooks: useEffect, useState, useReducer
- Knowledge of Create React APP and Web-pack
- Implemented and worked with reusable components
- Experience with build tools and continuous integration/deployment
- Experience with test-driven development and writing Unit Tests
- Aptitude for creating clean & elegant web GUIs
- Knowledge of Figma is an asset
- Worked and deployed in the cloud environment (AWS is an asset)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (in English)
- University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience
