About the Role

Your role is crucial to support data-related activities within our organization. You will work closely with a Data Engineer and Senior Data Analyst along with other team members to collect, analyze and present data insights that inform decision-making and drive business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to gain valuable experience in the field of data analytics.

Responsibilities: 

• Data Collection and Cleaning - Analyzing data on a regular basis to identify and flag areas for concern
• Data Analysis - Use different statistical methods and data tools to summarize findings in clear and concise reports
• Data Quality Assurance - Use best quality standards to identify and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies
• Report Visualisation & Generation - Create visually appealing and informative charts, graphs, and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders. Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for visualization. Prepare regular ad-hoc reports for key stakeholders ensuring accuracy and deliver on time metrics.
• Research, Learning & Collaboration - Continuously expanding knowledge and skills within data techniques and tools to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business/finance analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Skills:

• 1-3 years experience in Data related projects
• Data Transformation - key concept understandings
• SQL - experience in mid-level and understanding of some advanced functionalities
• Snowflake Cloud Data Warehousing - or similar like BigQuery, RedShift
• Relation Databases - SQL Server
• Analytical logic for decision making
• Understanding data types and data architecture
• Excel - higher/advanced level
• Python programming - entry level - important to understand syntaxes
• BI Tools - entry level for PowerBI, Tableau and ThoughtSpot
• GitHub and Jira - entry level - mid-level is a plus
• DBT understanding and experience is a plus
