We are looking for a Data Scientist that will work on the discovering of the information hidden in the increasingly large amount of data to help us build the portfolio of the data driven products for automated fraud detection.The primary focus will be in applying data science techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products. We need someone who is a creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things done, and productive working independently or in collaboration.

Essential Functions

• Identifying valuable internal and external data sources and extending company’s data with third party data sources when needed.
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the quality and usefulness of data used for analysis.
• Designing experiments, testing hypotheses, doing ad-hoc analysis.
• Selecting features, conducting advanced data analysis and advanced mathematical modeling, applying machine learning techniques.

Essential Requirements  

• Bachelor's Degree in Pure or Applied Math, Statistics, Computer Science or related field (MSc is a plus).
• 1+ year of experience with data science tasks, data analysis and data driven research.
• Good understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Good applied statistics skills (statistical testing, distribution, regression, etc.)
• Experience in at least one data science toolkits, such as R or Python.
• Basic skills in using SQL.
• Experience with Big Data ML toolkits is a plus.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
