Junior Underwriter

We’re looking for a motivated *Junior Underwriter* to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in assessing risk, reviewing merchant applications, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. If you're ready to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced environment, take a closer look at the *main responsibilities:* Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, FINCEN, AML, and acquiring bank regulations Maintain accurate records of all underwriting performed Accurately review and document merchant applications Report merchant performance and related risk levels to management Use multiple systems, applications, and procedures to research and resolve issues accurately Efficiently manage escalated issues within set timeframes Support cross-functional training and adaptability within the department Reference: RCnFP1HvlvyI5z7F0SCBzfnQ110MnETlSjDt10VBtNU. *What we expect from you:* High School diploma (college degree preferred) Preferred experience: 1+ years in merchant services or payment processing and familiarity with underwriting or risk assessment Fluency in English (both written and spoken) French language would be considered as an advantage Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to learn quickly and work independently and as part of a team toward achieving client and team goals *What you will get from us:* Afternoon shifts : 1 pm - 9 pm / 2 pm - 10 pm, Monday to Friday Paid training Opportunity to work with a dynamic, fast-growing team Private health insurance Benefit package available to all our employees (day off for a birthday, discounts with our partners from different industries, FitPass...)
