Job title: Key Account Manager
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Pipeline Management: manage and develop a solid sales pipeline from lead generation to contract conclusion including negotiation, forecasting and goal achievement
- Development and expansion of customer relationships: Maintain and build long-term relationships with decision-makers and key customers in the respective area
- Awareness: targeted specific and active marketing as well as proactive and targeted cooperation and communication with partners and experts depending on customer to increase the awareness of our portfolio
- Market and competitor analysis: customer and market trends analysis, competitors and potential business opportunities to maximize our sales potential in the respective area
- Reporting: Regular reporting of sales results as well preparation for forecasts
- Create value: Support the senior key accounts and sales director in their tasks
- Collaboration with other departments: close cooperation with marketing, product management and other relevant departments to ensure the achievement of the sales targets
Your Profile:
- University degree in economics, sales or project management or similar and minimum 3-5 years’ of experience as key account manager in an international automotive company
- Proven experience in successful acquisition of new customers
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as outstanding interpersonal skills and confident manner
- Result driven
- Profound project management skills and high customer orientation
- In-depth understanding of commercial cost structures
- High level of numeracy and excellent analytic skills
- Highly motivated with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and to work independently
- Fluency in English (written and oral), other language skills would be benefitial
- Willingness to travel
