Infrahead is a small company based in Hamar, Norway. We work with road planning, water-sewer planning and land use planning. For more information, see www.infrahead.no.

We are searching for a well-qualified landscape architect to work with us on zoning plans for-, and the design of, streets and roads, parks and urban spaces, residential developments and subdivisions etc. Our role in the projects can be the creation of zoning plans and preliminary design and/or detailed design and plans for tender and construction.

Applicants must have a master’s degree within this field, and some years of relevant work experience is also required.

The work also contains writing of zoning plan descriptions and provisions, technical descriptions, reports and other kinds of documents. Excellent writing skills are therefore required. The working language is Norwegian, and if not already proficient in Norwegian, the applicant must be prepared to learn the language quickly.

Moreover, applicants must be exact and systematic in their work, and possess well developed analytical skills. Everything we do must be carefully based on Norwegian design manuals etc, and the work requires a lot of reading. It is therefore important that you like to read, and that you see the importance of theoretical knowledge and enjoy working under strict requirements for quality control.
