Lead Manufacturing Engineer

We are looking for a motivated team member in the Engineering Department for our business unit Yanfeng Automotive Interiors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and leading a team of process engineers, the role involves leadership in the following activities:
• Responsible for process documentation: flow diagrams, PFMEA, capacity charts, work instructions, layout
• Leading a team of engineers responsible for training operators, overseeing production operations, and continuous improvement
• Identifying faulty operations and correcting them to maintain process control
• Responsible for stable production processes, collecting and analyzing process data to continuously reduce production costs
• Participating in updating equipment and tool specifications, participating in the procurement process, responsible for equipment troubleshooting, equipment acceptance
• Responsible for MBOM, setting up production tracking systems
• Keeping up with the latest and advanced technology and transforming it into actual processes
• Responsible for continuous improvement with the production team, e.g., improving equipment, processes, devices, layout
• Overseeing engineering changes and responsible for production change according to ECP (Engineering Change Procedure) and cost reduction
• Supporting the advanced engineering sector in implementing advanced process technology and global process standardization
• Adhering to occupational health and environmental protection requirements as outlined in work instructions or communicated during training
• Applying, executing, and maintaining prescribed procedures of the internal quality system related to the function performed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical or technical field
• Minimum 3 or 4 years of work experience in an industrial environment
• Very good command of spoken and written English
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
