The firm’s millennial owner is a driven entrepreneur looking for a team member to help grow the practice and eventually expand its reach nationwide. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a background in office management, ideally within a law firm, who thrives in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Legal Assistant / Office Manager, you will:
Streamline Office Operations:
Oversee administrative tasks, manage schedules, and maintain organizational systems to ensure the firm runs smoothly.
Keep legal documents, templates, and records up to date and well-organized.
Engage with Clients:
- Be the first point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and maintaining excellent client relationships.
- Manage client intake processes and follow up as needed.
Support Business Growth:
- Research and identify new sales and networking opportunities for the firm owner.
- Assist in implementing strategies to attract new clients and grow the firm’s footprint.
Assist with Legal Tasks:
- Prepare templates, contracts, and correspondence under the firm owner’s guidance.
- Conduct light legal research and provide administrative support for legal work.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an office manager, ideally within a law firm setting.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with a professional and client-focused demeanor.
- Proficiency with legal software, office tools, and remote work platforms.
- Growth mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a small business’s expansion.
- Familiarity with legal procedures and terminology is a plus.
