Logistics Assistant plays a key role in supporting the billing and logistical coordination activities within the organization. This position ensures the accurate processing of product-related invoices and assists with scheduling and organizing transportation for product pickups. Additionally, the role involves customer interaction via phone and supports logistical documentation and communication across departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and prepare invoices related to product deliveries in coordination with the Accounting Supervisor.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing of customers based on delivery records and product movement.
- Schedule and organize incoming and outgoing transport (trucks) in coordination with warehouse and logistics personnel.
- Liaise with truck drivers, freight companies, and internal staff to confirm transport arrangements.
- Handle inbound calls from clients, providing status updates, documentation, or redirecting inquiries as necessary.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records related to deliveries, invoicing, and logistics schedules.
- Assist in preparing reports or summaries related to logistics performance and invoice tracking.
- Support compliance with company procedures for invoicing and logistics documentation
POSITION REQIREMENTS:
- High school diploma; vocational training or associate degree in logistics, business administration, or accounting is a plus.
- Previous experience in logistics support, billing, or administrative roles preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone.
- Familiarity with billing systems, spreadsheets, and logistics planning tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize under time constraints.
- English language - B1
