Finance Assistant

We’re Hiring: Financial Assistant

As the HR team at MTE LIMITED 2 I’m excited to announce an opportunity to join our finance team as a Financial Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a structured environment, has a sharp eye for detail, and wants to grow within a supportive and professional finance team.

You’ll be a key player in keeping our financial operations organized, accurate, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day finance and accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, and data entry into the general ledger.
Help prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and reports under the guidance of senior finance staff.
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports such as P&L summaries.
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in settlement statements and invoices.
Maintain and track financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
Help develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and balances.
Conduct basic revenue and expense checks to support reporting accuracy.
Provide support during audits by preparing requested documents and reconciliations.
Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Help investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data and records.

What We’re Looking For:

1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting basics.
Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team.
