WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Waste Management Specialist responsible to support the development and implementation of MTU’s of EHS and FP management system in the context of external and internal requirements with special attention to waste management.

TASKS

• Supporting the development and implementation of MTU’s of EHS and FP management system in the context of external and internal requirements
• Participates in the risk assessment procedure
• Ensuring that waste management processes and activities at company level are done in accordance to required policies and laws
• Identifying all types of waste in accordance with the classification of waste and the Catalog of Waste
• Drafting of a waste management plan, instructions and OPS
• Preparing and executing trainings for employees regarding environmental protection
• Monitoring and supervision of waste flows, in accordance with the procedures and the Waste Management Plan 
• Preparing and keeping daily records of the amount of generated waste by type, in accordance with the Law and according to the information received from MEF
• Preparation and maintenance of daily records on special waste flows and according to the information received from MEF
• Preparation and keeping of records on packaging waste, and according to the information received from MEF
• Preparation and delivery of reports on waste management to competent authorities and reports required by the Law on Environmental Protection
• Coordinating activities of waste removal with contracted operators
• Notification of waste movement to Agency for Waste Management
• Mediation in the process of waste sampling and testing and provision of a Waste Characterization Report from an authorized and accredited laboratory
• Control of packaging, labeling and disposal of waste at the SF as well as at the waste warehouse
• Non-hazardous waste from offices, SF disposal, control and records in cooperation with MEOF
• Preparation of the daily, monthly and annual Report in area of EHS and FP and reporting to global company level / Sofi software 
• Keeps records in the field of Environmental protection and Energy monitoring
• Participation in projects and preparation of all types of Sustainability reports in these areas
• Liaison with external agencies, authorities, other MTU facilities and customer contacts
• Audits - Participate in the development of the audit plan, taking into account any regulatory or legal requirements
• Preparation, implementation and monitoring of the internal system / process

REQUIREMENTS

• University degree of at least 4 years of study (e.g. master's degree, university diploma) in a technical engineering subject or natural and mathematical profession
• Experience on similar job positions
• Good computer skills
• Methodological knowledge, for example: moderation technique, goal-oriented Meetings, presentation techniques, project management techniques - Analytical mind - Self-initiative ("driver, implementer, doer"), use of given freedoms (autonomy)
• High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure, willingness to take on responsibility
• Organizational ability, assertiveness, teamwork, communication skills, flexibility, overall thinking, objects and process-oriented thinking and acting
• Conversational level of English language knowledge
