Maintenance Technician

NT Solutions Inc. is an American trucking company with over ten years of successful operations in the U.S. market. Due to an increased volume of business, we are currently seeking a candidate with extensive experience and well‑developed skills to perform the responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor driver equipment maintenance — Oversee how drivers care for and maintain company vehicles and trailers
• Communicate with drivers — Advise drivers on where and how to handle repairs and service tasks while on the road.
• Maintain accurate records — Keep precise logs of vehicle defects, repair activities, and service history.
• Coordinate and negotiate repair services — Arrange repair work along routes, and negotiate pricing with service providers to optimize cost and uptime.
• Track fuel usage and optimize costs — Monitor truck fuel consumption and implement strategies to reduce operational expenses.
• Liaise with key stakeholders — Maintain communication with drivers, fleet managers, and safety personnel to ensure operational alignment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance and repair duties for heavy trucking equipment.
• Fluent English (verbal and written)
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with drivers, service providers, fleet managers, and safety personnel.
• Collaborative team-player mindset, comfortable working across departments and shifts.
• Proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or related logistics software for tracking maintenance schedules, fuel usage, and service history.
