Marketing Communications Manager

We're looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to define and amplify our brand voice, foster community engagement, and grow our user base by leading strategic email marketing initiatives—keeping our brand top-of-mind for both new and returning users.

As our Marketing Communications Manager, you'll own our email marketing and customer journeys, driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention through compelling storytelling, targeted campaigns, and strategic media outreach.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute email marketing strategies to engage users throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to retention.
• Create automated email journeys (e.g., onboarding sequences, re-engagement campaigns, and personalized updates).
• Analyse email performance metrics and continuously optimize campaigns based on data insights to improve open rates, click-throughs, and conversions.
• Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent and engaging communication across all channels.
• Work closely with the design and product teams to ensure emails are visually compelling and aligned with the BullRush brand.
• Set and track KPIs for email initiatives, providing regular performance reports.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in marketing communications.
• Proven track record of growing brand presence and community engagement in a digital-first environment.
• Proven expertise in email marketing platforms and CRM tools (e.g., Braze, Salesforce, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, or Mailchimp).
• Strong understanding of email automation, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
