Medical Science Liaison - Oncology and Hematology

Job Summary

Oncology/Hematology Medical Science Liaison participates in creating medical strategy while develops scientific cooperation with key stakeholders, healthcare professionals, patient associations and executes medical plans and planned medical activities in the territory. The Oncology/Hematology Medical Science Liaison will collaborate with their internal and external counterparts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain country medical plans in alignment with global medical strategy.
• Execute on medical strategies and execute medical plans and planned medical activities.
• Organize and support Swixx and its Partners' medical activities and provide medical insight to internal stakeholders and contributes on affiliate brand strategies and plans development.
• Act as country medical information function, ensure timely response to medical information inquiries, collection and processing of requests in line with local regulatory requirements and Swixx and its Partners' procedures.
• Operate in a professional, compliant, and ethical manner in line with laws and regulations.
• Continuously maintain the highest scientific and medical expertise in all relevant disease areas and products and is acknowledged both internally and externally.
• Establish and enhance strategic partnerships with centres of excellence, key medical and academic institutions and KOLs and other HCPs in areas of scientific interest and serves as conduit for exchange of scientific information between medical community and Swixx or its Partners’.
• Develop relationships with relevant medical groups (e.g. research centres, hospitals, professional associations, patient advocacy groups) in support of Swixx and its Partners' objectives

Qualifications & Experience

• M.D, degree, alternatively university degree in pharmacy or life sciences
• Not less than 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Oncology/Hematology field
• Preferable experience in medical function roles and responsibilities
• Ability to translate scientific or clinical data into compelling balanced messages for scientific exchange and medical insights gathering.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes and relevant legislation.
• High level of professionalism, ability and willingness to work effectively with multiple products, projects and partners in cross-functional team setting.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced literacy on Microsoft Office applications, driving license, fluency in English
