Description
As a member of our newborn and small test automation team, you will work closely with our QA analysts to create the structure of an end-to-end quality assurance solution, where you’ll have the chance to learn and practice your knowledge in a dynamic and constantly growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications
- Collaborate with QA analysts to extend test coverage through automation
- Build, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks following best practices
- Execute automated regression and integration tests, ensuring early defect detection
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform API testing and validate responses, headers, authentication, and data integrity
- Work with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure proper automation coverage.
- Contribute to QA strategy and propose improvements to testing processes
- Write clear documentation, test reports, and provide feedback during review meetings
Requirements
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in QA automation (web, API, mobile, or desktop apps)
- Experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Strong knowledge of one or more programming/scripting languages: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficiency with test automation frameworks/tools, such as: Cypress, Playwright
- Experience with API testing tools such as: Postman
- Ability to design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub)
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Good grasp of SDLC/STLC, test strategies, and test plans
- Understanding of defect tracking and bug lifecycle
Nice-to-Haves
- ISTQB or other testing certifications
- Experience testing in cloud or microservices environments
- Performance or load testing exposure (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related IT field
Soft Skills
- Problem-solving mindset and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Communication skills for working with devs, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Writing clear documentation and test reports
