Network Security Engineer

To join our team and provide network support and guidance to other teams and
clients.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, Implement, and manage local area network and network security solutions using Fortinet Firewalls and other network devices.
• Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network security devices and systems.
• Monitor and analyze network performance and security events, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.
• Perform network security audits, assessments, and tests, and document the results and recommendations.
• Update and maintain network security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide technical support and training to other network engineers and users.

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on firewall management and network security.
• Proficiency in local area network (LAN) design, including subnetting, VLAN segmentation, hardware selection, and other aspects of LAN architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLAN.
• Hands-on experience with firewall platforms such as Fortinet, specifically with FortiGate firewalls, and proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting them.
• Experience with Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer for centralized management, configuration, and analysis of Fortinet devices.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification in Routing and Switching or Enterprise, or higher-level Cisco certifications.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki for cloud-managed networking solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and take decisions within field of competency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, or coding languages such as Python for network automation is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. 
• Fluency in both Serbian and English.
