Senior back-end engineer (.NET)

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to join our growing engineering team and help us scale our platform to the next level.

What you’ll do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET (C#) and modern frameworks.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs (HTTP & gRPC) to support mobile and web applications.
• Work with Docker for containerization and ensure smooth deployments through Azure DevOps.
• Manage data storage and queries using SQL Server (T-SQL) and CosmosDB in Azure Cloud.
• Apply design and architectural patterns to build high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to the design of distributed systems that handle high loads and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with colleagues from the frontend and mobile team to deliver new features and improve performance.
• Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship, and share knowledge with peers.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and related frameworks.
• Proven experience with REST (HTTP & gRPC) services.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Visual Studio / VS Code, and Azure Cloud services (CosmosDB, Azure DevOps).
• Solid knowledge of CosmosDB and database design.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding and active use of design patterns and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about system design and scalability.
