Location and project: Construction site Surčin, project National Football Stadium 

The stadium with a capacity of 52,000 spectators, meeting the requirements for hosting national team matches and major international UEFA/FIFA events from the outset. It is located in the municipality of Sucrin, 13.5 km from the center of Belgrade and 5.4 km from Nikola Tesla Airport. With 4,500 parking spaces, the project will cover approximately 32 hectares, making it highly significant for the city’s future in the vicinity of the expo that will host Expo 2027.

Responsibilities:

Planning Engineer is primarily responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring project schedules to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality requirements. The key responsibilities include:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling

Develop overall and detailed project schedules, including milestones, critical paths, and task breakdowns.

Identify key tasks and constraints to determine the project’s critical path.

Establish the project schedule baseline based on contract requirements and project objectives.

2. Progress Tracking and Monitoring

Monitor project progress, collect actual progress data, and compare it with the planned schedule.

Identify schedule deviations, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions.

Provide regular progress reports to management and relevant departments.

3. Resource Coordination and Optimization

Assess project resource needs (manpower, materials, equipment) to ensure efficient allocation and scheduling.

Coordinate with different departments to optimize resource utilization and avoid conflicts.

Forecast potential resource shortages and propose solutions.

4. Risk Management

Identify potential risks that may impact the schedule and develop preventive and contingency measures.

Report any risks that could affect the project timeline and suggest mitigation strategies.

Participate in project schedule risk assessment meetings and optimize plans accordingly.

5. Communication and Coordination

Organize and participate in project schedule meetings, ensuring effective communication with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Ensure all parties are aligned with the project schedule and objectives.

Manage schedule changes and ensure timely communication and execution.

6. Software and Tools Utilization

Proficiently use project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, Share Point) for schedule preparation and analysis.

Generate Gantt charts, network diagrams, and other visual reports .

Job requirments: 

Work experience in planning

Familiar with standards of planning;

Good communication and writing skills in English and Serbian;

Proficient in reading planning drawings, skilled at office software, and able to operate with planning software;

 Qualifications:

 Graduate engineer in the field of construction, traffic, urban planning, architecture or one of the technical sciences 

 Valid driving license.
