Pricing Analyst

About the Role: As a Logistics Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our team by collecting, analyzing, presenting, and maintaining carrier pricing agreements. You will develop customer pricing programs and strategies through sourcing, data mining, and statistical analysis. Your insights will help us establish and maintain strong relationships with carriers and ensure our pricing models are competitive and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with carriers for LTL and Full Truckload business.
• Source and negotiate pricing with partner carriers for both existing and new business.
• Develop customer-focused pricing models based on market conditions and trends.
  Price RFPs for customers, ensuring rates are submitted within deadlines and profitability parameters.
• Identify and present pricing strategies based on customer history, market dynamics, and target profitability.
• Support the Operations team by negotiating pricing with carriers for specific loads or lanes.
• Ensure adherence to pricing and service expectations with partner carriers.
• Manage pricing databases and develop strategic plans to increase profitability for low margin lanes and customers.
• Execute carrier RFPs to improve profit margins.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with transportation bid processes and practices, with a complete understanding of pricing.
• 2-3 years of experience in a Transportation Brokerage setting, preferably in Operations.
• 1-2 years of pricing and analytical experience.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, lookups).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to communicate and interface effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, and vendors.
