Job Purpose:
As our Procurement Coordinator your job purpose is to plan and execute procurement operations in line with the Logistic Department and company’s strategic direction and lead efficiently and effectively the procurement process including, needs calculation, PR and PO’s issuing and follow up, delivery and shipment monitoring and reception.
Your Key Challenges are to:
- Execute MRP calculation, defines monthly copper need and adjust hedged quantities to meet inventory level and coverage.
- Perform weekly needs calculation of insulation and masterbatch. Issue and follow up purchasing orders, create POs on the information system, issue POs to suppliers.
- Monitor Consumable & Packaging inventory level, calculate needs, issues and follow purchasing orders.
- Follow up delivery and shipment of raw materials, consumables and packaging. Monitor suppliers service and take required actions to meet target (Delivery time & Quantities).
- Prepare suppliers performances data in terms of delivery efficiency (OTIF) and communicate data to purchasing department.
- Perform other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested. Comply with corporate values, code of conducts and non-disclosure agreement.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transport Management or Transportation Administration
Required Experience:
- 1 year in similar position in industrial field
Skills required to perform the job:
- Procurement methods, Supplier relationship management, international regulations
Language & Software Skills:
- MS Office Softwires (Excel, Words, PPT), CRM software and ERP applications.
- English is a must
