Procurement Officer

KTX SR d.o.o., a leading company in the field of production and distribution of plastic parts in the automotive industry, is looking for a motivated  Procurement Officer for our team in Subotica. Main tasks 

• Determination of the supplier selection in coordination with the requesting body to ensure the technical and qualitative requirements for the supplier, taking into account the applicable principles in the company for the selection of a supplier.
• Obtaining offers including the necessary commercial examination.
• Constant negotiation of terms and conditions for the procurement area for which you are responsible.
• Taking necessary measures to eliminate disruptions in the procurement process.
• The assertion and enforcement of our claims to ensure the trouble-free procurement process.
• Agreement on framework agreements with suppliers.
• Participation in the development of the purchasing strategy.
• Development of possibilities for cost savings for the procurement volumes to be responsible and internal processes
• Constant monitoring, strategic development and taking measures on the procurement market to ensure that targets are met.

Other tasks 

• Carrying out analyses and their evaluation.
• Participation in continuous improvement in the overall operation.
• Supporting and complying with applicable guidelines at KTX.
• Informing the supervisor about the status of individual projects as well as in the event of critical deviations in the procurement process.
• Ensuring a smooth flow of information throughout the entire operation at all times.
• Advising the supervisor on possible optimisations in the specialist area.
• Permanent further development of methods and instruments in procurement.

Powers

• Conclusion of non-disclosure agreements with suppliers and potential new suppliers.
• Placing individual orders for cost center requirements  and triggering the subsequent nomination after internal procurement application approval.
• Subsequent triggering of the long-term order.
• Triggering of long-running orders for OEM-nominated components.
• Conclusion of supplier handbook with suppliers and potential new suppliers.
• Release of invoices up to an additional cost limit.
• Release of credit notes from suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Degree in economics, management or related disciplines .
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement. 
• Willingness to travel to Germany for training at the mothers company, minimum 1 month.
• As an interface to various departments as well as to external business partners, negotional and social skills and abilities are very important.
• High level of organizational skills and paying attention to correct and trusting interaction.
• Computer skills, fluency in English, Category B driver's license.
