Our client is an international EMS company with diversified industries’ clients throughout Europe. Due to the expansion of their local business, we are looking for a proactive and diligent candidate for the following position:
PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTIC MANAGER
Location: Niš
Key Responsibilities:
- Constantly develop sourcing strategies
- Discover prospective suppliers and initiate collaboration and partnerships
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous conditions
- Control that purchased material is provided according to requested technical drawings
- Audit of suppliers together with Quality Department representatives
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Control customs clearance and transport activities and calculate all associated costs when importing goods
- Maintain and control stock levels, expenses and focus on long-term savings on procurement costs related to purchase and logistics
- Responsibility for timely setting up of transport and distribution plan in accordance with the sales plan
- Nurturing partnership with existing service providers, along with an active search for potential partners in transport
- Keeping records and monitoring of inventory status of warehouses in line with trading activities and managing of warehousing daily operation
- Organization, coordination and management of the team responsible for purchasing, logistic and warehousing
- Proposing and actively implement measures to improve the logistics operations of the company
- Ensuring alinement of logistics processes with legal regulations and internal standards
Required Skills and Experience:
- University degree in logistics, business or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in purchasing, preferably in EMS
- Previous experience in export, import, customs clearance and transport organization
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Skills and experience in suppliers auditing, negotiations and networking with decisive aptitude as well as an experience in work in Pantheon will be considered as an advantage
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data
- Fluency in English and PC skills
- Leadership capabilities and organizational skills, accuracy in work
- Proactive, communicative and responsible person
