Product Manager (Player Experience)

We are on the lookout for a detail-orientated Product Manager with experience of payment systems and a focus on driving end-to-end discovery, development, and delivery of key product initiatives. Reporting into the Director of Product Management, you will own the roadmap and priorities for your product area and be the driving force behind the success of Pollard Banknote’s world-class lottery platform, products, and gaming experiences.

What this role will do:

• Product Leadership: Manage and evolve our digital wallet and payment solutions. Ensuring a seamless user experience and operational excellence across all aspects of our gaming platform.
• Delivery: Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch for our payment’s product, including requirement definition, prioritizing features, and coordinating development efforts.
• Enhance Payment methods: Identify opportunities and drive implementation of new payment methods to expand our offering and cater to customer preferences and market demands
• Optimize User Experience: Continuously improve the usability and efficiency of our wallet, deposits, and withdrawals processes to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Handle Reconciliations and Chargebacks: Oversee reconciliation processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and transactional integrity, including chargebacks, refunds etc.
• Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with external partners such as payment processers, banks, and finance team.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Forge strong partnerships with stream-aligned teams, product managers, and stakeholders to align on product initiatives and seamlessly execute on our vision.
• Vision and Strategy: Define and advocate for a product vision that aligns with the broader organizational goals while emphasizing stream-aligned team empowerment.
• Backlog Management: Prioritize enhancements for the player experience, assisting with project management tasks such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and team co-ordination.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics that monitor the efficiency, reliability, and performance of payment services and support ongoing product decisions.
• Stay Informed: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to lottery and gaming.

• 5+ years of experience working with payment products in a product management role.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex payment issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges effectively.
• Track record of working closely with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and translating that into product enhancements.
• Proven ability in crafting a vision, balancing the immediate needs of stakeholders with longer-term strategic goals.
• High English proficiency, along with superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of lotteries and/or gaming in general would be beneficial.
