We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Production Engineer to drive improvements in manufacturing processes while actively contributing to cross-functional coordination. This role combines hands-on technical engagement with strong organizational and decision-making responsibilities. The ideal candidate will not only focus on optimizing workflows and efficiency but will also play a key role in supporting team alignment and ensuring seamless operational continuity, including stepping into critical responsibilities when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of consumables, tools, and spare parts to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
- Authorized to recommend temporary suspension of production in extraordinary situations, in coordination with the shift leader.
- In the absence of the shift leader, proposes workforce allocation and supports the organization of tasks within the department.
- Works closely with the shift leader to suggest performance-based incentive measures in alignment with team results.
- Analyzes product specifications, clarifies product and production requirements, and actively collaborates with R&D, product engineering, and product management teams.
- Propose product modifications to enhance production efficiency and supports reengineering initiatives.
- Provides detailed technical documentation related to product specifications, components, and material requirements.
- Plans equipment layout, tool requirements, and IT systems; contributes to the design and optimization of manufacturing workflows in cooperation with relevant engineering teams.
- Reviews and analyzes pilot runs and pre-series production samples to assess manufacturability; recommends necessary product or process adjustments.
- Leads or participates in local improvement projects and interfaces with cross-functional engineering teams, external suppliers, and service providers.
- Ensures proper and up-to-date documentation of all production and process-related changes.
- Take over the responsibilities of the shift leader during their absence, ensuring operational continuity and team coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering or related discipline)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar or related role
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong command of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proven problem-solving abilities and decision-making capacity
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings
- Previous experience in welding-related environments will be considered a strong asset
