Production Planning Engineer

Yanfeng Seating d.o.o. Kragujevac, a member of the Yanfeng group, a global automotive trim supplier, with presence on 3 continents, and in over 100 locations, is expanding it’s business with a greenfield investment in Serbia. We are looking for a motivated candidate, to become a core team member of our new factory in the position of:

PRODUCTION PLANNING ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and tracking factory production plans based on customer delivery needs, customer’s order analysis and the completion date confirmation;
• Responsible for adjusting production plans in a timely manner according to production capactities, tracking the execution of supplier orders, and ensuring the completion within the defined deadlines;
• Responsible for controlling the finished goods and semi-finished goods stock;
• Responsible for the management of warehouse work, promoting visualization management / personnel management / material in and out management / inventory work to ensure effective warehouse operations;
• Responsible to analyze in-plant material flow and continuously improve the efficiency of material handling operators and material handling equipment (MHE) in warehouse and each workshop
• Responsible to analyze, design and improve the material pulling method and delivery routes, logistics areas layout and material minimum and maximum ammounts in shop floor and warehouse;
• Responsible to evaluate new plant/new vehicle project logistics investment, including logistics space, operation headcount and material handling equipment;
• Responsible for new products’ order evaluation and follow up, samples and trial runs’ arrangements;
• Implement company's SAP/WMS/MES system database and execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor diploma (min. 180 ESPB) in engineering, organizational science, logistics or related 
• 3 or more years of relevant experience with production planning
• Familiarity with SAP system, Lean logistics and material pulling
• Very good command of spoken and written English
• Excelent interpersonal/organizational skills, strong sense of team belonging
