Production Shift Manager

The company Toyo Tire Serbia was established in 2019, and construction of a plant started in 2020, with production kicked off in 2022. The plant encompasses Tire Test track and the first bifacial and currently the largest Solar Power plant in Serbia.

Job description:

• Oversee the daily operations of the production shift, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Schedule staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimize productivity and meet production targets.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, technology, and production control, to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with production planners and schedulers to prioritize material needs and prevent shortages or delays in production.
• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Analyze production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Foster a positive work culture based on teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a production environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality standards
• Ability to make quick decisions and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
• Highly proficient in written and spoken English
• Flexibility to work various shifts
