QA Analyst  

 Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility  

The role will be to work in the Europe PMO primarily on T&T projects. The role will require quality assurance checking from the NCR field engineers for completed installations of networking equipment around Europe. The field engineers will be required to complete various levels of QA documentation. The documentations must be checked and reviewed by the analysts. Once complete and accurate the documentation can be passed on to NCR customers to allow site sign off and invoicing.

Experience necessary per the below:

  • Technical educations/background/experience
  • Able to understand and follow technical instructions
  • Knowledge or experience with Fiber optic cables different type and specifications (LC, SC, FC,…)
  • Knowledge or experience with electrical cables
  • Knowledge of comms room environment
  • Knowledge of comms room installations (raised floor/ tray cables,…..)
  • Understand and able to read labels
  • Basic knowledge of telecom equipment’s (Any, example Ciena, Nokia, Huawei ,…. )
  • Basic understanding of Test equipment (Power Meter, Optical Power Meter…..)
  • Good eyes for small details
  • Able to communicate technical requirements to CE
  • Able to give constructive feedback
  • Good understanding of Microsoft window (words, Excel, Photo, …)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify 100% self-audits FAST reports from the field CE.
  • Audits 100% of the jobs
  • Place audit results in QuickBase
  • Ensuring proper audits are conducted and completed properly
  • All photos and documents completed as per customer requirements
  • Ensuring customer standards are being followed by individual discussion or broadcast communication to technicians
  • Ensure installation conformity by keeping in touch with customer standards and requirements by constant monitoring of new releases of installation standards
  • Tracking defect by technician and correct it
  • Tracking defect count
  • Assisting in technician knowledge and skill level
  • Sharing information on audit findings
  • Training of customer standards through power point and or bulletins and alerts
  • Additional training through issues that arise and communicating/speaking directly to the technician responsible for the nonconformance/issue
  • Support with completing required installation and on filling out needed customer Quality documentation
  • Supporting NCR goals through interaction with the customer
  • Communication with customer quality to share ideas
  • Absorbing feedback from customer Quality to share with the NCR team
  • Ensuring quality is on track for our customer QBR goals
  • Participating in customer Quality meetings
  • Following up on customer feedback

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years in IT services industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in working in a multinational environment
  • Excellent written and spoken English
