Our client is company Le Bélier Kikinda, a part of global automotive group specialized in the manufacture of moulded aluminium safety components for cars. Le Bélier, with headquarters in France, is one of the largest independent suppliers of the aluminium cast parts for the global car industry. Located on three continents, with around 3.400 employees, Le Bélier group has 12 plants located in France, Hungary, Serbia, Mexico and China, specialized in three products family: braking components, air intake and chassis-structure. We are looking for the experienced manager on one of the most challenging positions in the company:
QUALITY MANAGER (AUTOMOTIVE)
What can you expect in this job?
First of all, a huge challenge. This is not a common phrase - leading Quality department in Le Belier Kikinda implies the responsibility for the very heart of the company. Along with responsibility comes a rare opportunity to organize one of the core processes in a plant belonging to a large multi-national system, operating in highly demanding automotive industry.
To be more specific, managing Quality department in LBK encompasses responsibility for:
- A team of six direct reports (Quality Engineers and Laboratory Supervisor)
- Definition, implementation, leading and improvement of Quality Management System in accordance with clients’ requests (cost, quality, deadlines, services)
- Ensuring that all Group’s quality policies are implemented locally
- Customer support, manage clients’ complaints and implementation of corrective actions
- Participate in Group activities and transfer knowledge with other Quality managers in the Group
- Reporting to Plant Manager (locally) and Corporate Quality Director (located in France)
- Implementing continuous improvement projects
…all that in order to meet customers and company requirements, in terms of quality, deadlines and costs. Sounds challenging?
What do we expect?
- Five years of experience on the similar position in automotive industry (Quality Manager, Quality Engineer - senior)
- Detailed knowledge of IATF 16949
- Experience with continuous improvement tools
- Fluency in English, oral and written
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and communicational skills
