We are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Sales to lead our sales initiatives and achieve revenue targets across our hotel portfolio in the Mountain States. This key role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, setting revenue goals, and ensuring the successful execution of sales activities. You will collaborate closely with hotel general managers to drive sales and boost revenue.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, innovative thinker, and detail-oriented professional with at least three years of sales experience in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet financial targets and drive revenue growth. Collaborate with the VP of Operations, hotel general managers, and the Revenue Management team.
- Provide weekly sales activity and monthly expense reports, staying ahead of market trends and customer preferences.
- Increase revenue through strategic outbound sales efforts and exceed monthly booking targets.
- Foster relationships with key clients and stakeholders; develop compelling sales materials.
- Update executive leadership on sales performance, market trends, and manage sales budgets efficiently.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional hospitality certifications are a plus, but a strong sales background and passion for the industry are essential
- Language Skills: Native proficiency in English is a must. Additional languages are a plus.
- Proven success in sales, with a strong track record in lead generation and deal closing.
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably with major hotel chains such as Hilton, Choice, Wyndham, or IHG.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
- Comfortable with extensive screen time and active participation in phone and video communications.
