Accountabilities:
- Participates in conducting and budgeting scientific trials with the purpose of new product development (in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro).
- Participates in conducting trials for the purpose of registration.
- Closely collaborates with Product Management and Innovation to improve existing products and develop new ones.
- Coordinates and monitors the publishing of scientific trial results (internally or externally) in scientific papers in alignment with Product Management.
- Builds and maintains a network of scientific contacts and fosters good relationships with relevant research and scientific institutions and other stakeholders.
- Follows competitor activities and competitive products and creates strategic responses to the competition.
- Liaises with Regulatory Affairs and Procurement for the purposes of new material/ingredient verification.
- Provides scientific and technical support in product registration and quality management.
- Participates at scientific symposia and conferences, seminars or webinars (internal or external).
- Engages in specific technical trainings for internal sales and technical team and distributors.
- Participates in strategic (long-term) planning and annual (short-term) planning. Sets and achieves goals of the R&D projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree – faculty of veterinary medicine, agriculture, biology, or other natural sciences.
- VII2 or VIII education level is preferred – master's degree or PhD.
- 2-3 years of experience in R&D roles within the Feed Additive industry is preferred.
- Experience in planning and executing research projects is desirable.
- Computer literacy (Windows, Internet, MS Office).
- Advanced English communication skills, both oral and written.
