Respoinsible Architect

The PCCC (Power Construction Corporation of China) is in need of Architects for the metro line project in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia. To ensure the design project of Belgrade Metro Line 1 moves forward successfully, the daily tasks of this person include, but not limited to:

• Provide guidance and support to engineers and subcontractors of the company to ensure they are well-acquainted with local laws, regulations, and standards;
• Participate in discussions and decision-making regarding design plans;
• Complete the preparation of design-related reports, calculations, and drawings in accordance with the work plan, and actively participate in the review of design deliverables;
• Double check design technical reviews from design management sub-con;
• Audit all design meetings (including meetings between design teams, interfacing meeting with client, system contractor(Alstom) or coordination meeting between PowerChina teams, etc.) and give professional opinions when needed;
• Sign off on design deliverables;
• Find proper design resource when unforeseen design task appears and make plan for that;
• Provide necessary English-Serbian translation for specific documents;
• Help in the tendering of other projects.

Qualification:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in design or design management.
• Master degree in Architecture are preferred.
• Experienced in full-cycle PGD & PZI design.
• Experienced in project coordination.
• Additional qualifications that will be considered as an advantage:
  • Fluency in English and Serbian;
  • Holding a License 300 or 301 or 302 or AP 02 registered for Architecture design in Serbia;
  • Prior experience with European metro projects and railways projects;
  • Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling;
  • Previous work experience in or collaboration with Chinese companies.
