Description

Our team is currently looking for ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated person with outstanding communication, problem solving and analytical skills to take the position of:

Safety, Health and Environmental Manager

The successful candidate for this position will report to the Factory director in Gornji Milanovac Factory.

Main responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain systems for compliance with the Group Safety Health and Environment policies and local legislation.
  • Monitor compliance with local legal requirements, Corporate OHS and Environment policies and procedures
  • Ensure that a Safety Health and Environment training program is in place to cover the local legal requirements and significant risks on the site.
  • Drive Safety Health and Environment key performance indicators in the factory
  • Ensure all significant risks and Environment aspects are appropriately identified and managed to acceptable levels
  • Lead the Safety & Health pillar to drive zero accident goal in the factory.
  • Conduct accident / incident investigation and ensure all incidents are reported and investigated promptly, causal factors and root causes are determined with implementation of corrective and preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Implement, maintain and improve safety proactive and preventive tools.
  • Ensure timely delivery of correct data to agreed internal and external social and environmental reporting platforms (i.e. SoFi, Sedex questionnaires)
  • Ensure third party audits are planned and executed according to group requirements in the areas of Environment, Health and Safety and legal compliance (i.e. Sedex, ISO 14001)

We believe you have:

  • Experience in an SHE role or similar in a manufacturing environment and 2-4 years in management role
  • Master degree or equivalent (University) in Safety Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Certified Safety Professional is a plus
  • Experience to manage security aspects
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal health, safety & environmental regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Incident Investigation, Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving
  • Language skills in Serbian and in English
