Responsibilities:
- Driver candidates approval – check all driver qualifications including drivers’ previous employment history, driving records, CDL status
- Alert the recruiting team of any red flags, potential missing documentation etc.
- Approve/Disqualify the drivers upon review
- Monitor driver’s MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and order annual MVR’s
- Assists in managing the “Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse” database (drug test history database for drivers)
- Assists in managing drivers and equipment in TruckMate (Adding, removing, updating, checking for warnings)
- Assist in managing Evennon Med-Stop account (scheduling drug tests, DOT medical examinations, CDL updates)
- Assists in managing IRP account
- * preparing and sending applications and required paperwork for truck registrations
- * registration transfer and renewal F2290 (Highway Use Taxes)
- Assists in filing company IFTA (Fuel Tax)
- Assists in managing IPass and Prepass accounts (Tollway account)
- Assist in managing truck permits for NY, KY, NM and OR (highway use permits)
- Assist in managing cargo and physical damage insurance policies: add/remove equipment and drivers, prepare monthly reports on drivers and equipment, prepare monthly mileage report
- Assists in managing fines in the best interest of the company, including hiring attorneys, paying penalties, and handling necessary correspondence with the court or other relevant authorities.
- Assists in resolving traffic accidents.
- Helps monitor drivers’ performance, correcting mistakes and oversights in their conduct.
- Tracks the company’s safety score and works to improve safety operations.
- Supports management of insurance policies, such as liability, cargo, physical damage, and workers' compensation.
- Assists with handling insurance claims and complaints.
- Helps manage post-accident testing and data, including drug, alcohol, and other relevant tests.
- Performs daily checks for unreported accidents and inspections in the FMCSA portal (Evennon FMCSA Portal account).
- Helps manage data from DOT roadside inspections.
- Communicates driver injuries or violations to other departments as needed.
- Informs drivers of existing violations, and proposes as well as implements corrective actions.
- Monitors drivers via employer software (e.g., Samsara — AI camera and void notices regarding timely metrics and telematics), and initiates preventive measures if driving irregularities are detected.
- Monitors camera functionality.
- Provides GPS support to drivers in high-risk zones.
- Assists in requesting corrections or adjustments for disputed DOT inspections.
- If unjust violations affecting the safety score are found, presents evidence to remove negative points.
- Helps prepare necessary documentation in case of a DOT audit.
Qualifications and characteristics needed:
- Safety experience in USA trucking industry is needed, at least 1 year
- Passionate about cross-cultural cooperation and getting to know different types of people,

- Flexible and reliable team player,
- Able to multitask,
- Great communication skills and problem-solving orientation,
- Tech savvy (when we write this, we refer to: you know how to make an Excel table - i.e. to use Microsoft package, and/or to work in G-suit).
Not to forget to add - The position is office based. Our office is in Beograđanka, Masarikova Street No. 5.
*Previous experience in the USA trucking Safety field is not required, as the training is provided, but it will be considered as an advantage.
