We are actively seeking highly experienced Technical & Safety Supervisor to join our team, in in Novi Beograd, Serbia.

The Technical & Safety Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and technical operations of the company’s facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, optimizing maintenance processes, and collaborating with various departments to maintain the highest level of operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of all company facilities, including buildings, air conditioning, firefighting equipment, material handling equipment, refrigerators, and other electromechanical systems.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor maintenance and repair activities for all fixed assets using the Group’s IT tools, ensuring timely and effective completion.
  • Coordinate and oversee technical projects in collaboration with the manager, ensuring adherence to safety, ISO, ADR and fire safety regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external collaborators, workshops, and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and compliance with maintenance contracts, as well as small Procurement activities regarding the scope of the position.
  • Measure, record, and report utility consumption (water, energy, etc.) while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Create and present regular reports on maintenance activities, compliance, and budget performance.
  • Plan and control maintenance budgets, optimizing costs without compromising quality or safety.

Requirements

  • Effective task management and prioritization, ensuring a clear and organized workflow.
  • Strong team player, actively supporting team objectives and fostering collaboration.
  • Good business writing and verbal skills both in Serbian and English.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical diploma.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in safety management or technical operations, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles within industrial safety, compliance, and technical management.
