We are looking to add to our Sales Engineering team.  You will be responsible for delivering demos and answering questions for trial customers as well as assisting in the execution OF content updates in tools like CRM (HubSpot) and CRM e-mail (Customer.io).  The ideal candidate should be a natural born multi-tasker who can quickly pick up how to use applications in online technology.  You should have the sales skills necessary to convert warm leads into buyers, and communication skills to explain things to clients in writing as well as in a video conference.  You should be technical and detail-oriented enough to answer questions about our tools as if they were in Customer Support.   

Tokeet provides SaaS software and support for the short term vacation rental market.  This burgeoning industry is sometimes called Property Management Software (PMS), and it is all about managing the tasks necessary to coordinate bookings on multiple web sites, communicate with guests and work staff, using AI to set prices, and handle virtual paperwork like contracts and invoicing.   Tokeet is 100% bootstrapped and profitable... this is your opportunity to join a  startup that is already making it.


This role is 100% telecommuting even when there’s no pandemic, and you can define some consistent hours that you work.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn the Tokeet suite of products and become a power user.   The core platform technology is five years old and on version 3, which is quite stable and user-friendly.  Add-on products vary from three years old to new launches.
  • Take video calls from both interested prospects and trial customers to advocate the benefits of our solutions as well as demo or teach them the basics of using them.   Expect to be evaluated on conversion rate.
  • Identify their pain points and address how Tokeet software can help them.
  • Track and update a CRM tool to support the ongoing documentation of our customer interactions.  Become an expert in HubSpot so that you can add useful configurations to the environment.
  • Learn, collect, and share information about how they heard about us, how else we might find customers like them, and what their opinions are of other service providers.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing activity, such as mail drops and online pop-ups.  Learn to use marketing effectiveness tools and provide recommendations.
  • Habitually document discoveries and status.
  • Be the glue of Sales Operations by ensuring our technology is effectively used and that the interests of all departments are represented.
