We are looking for a Sales Manager Polymers who has a minimum of 5 years of industrial experience and a successful track record in either a polymers distribution company or hands-on polymers processing as well as converting techniques and industry-related test methods (e.g. successfully worked in the polymers production manufactory) and who will be responsible for all sales activities regarding the assigned accounts or geographic area to achieve established sales targets, including the introduction of our innovative and new products to our customers, as well as supporting existing products and their continuous improvements. The successor should be proactive and able to work independently, under limited supervision.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for all sales activities of Calcium Carbonate, and distribution of products in Serbia in the Polymers market segment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Present and sell company products (the whole entire portfolio) and services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, etc.
  • Active reporting on customer visits
  • Preparation of weekly/monthly reports with quality information that actively supports the assessment of the current market situation and the development of new strategies
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a Technical Field
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and distribution, or an equivalent education
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills
  • Adept at negotiation and customer service
  • Solid knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Thorough understanding of the industry is required
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% and work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and occasional overnight travel
  • Must possess valid driver's license
