We are a premier heavy-duty truck parts store in Philadelphia, PA. As we expand our horizons, we are in search of a knowledgeable Semi-Truck Parts Sales Person/Commercial Parts Specialist in Serbia or surrounding countries.
Who Are We Looking For?
Someone fluent in English with a comprehensive understanding of semi trucks, truck parts, and diesel engines.
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Manager in a Trucking Company, Owner-operator, or a history in Class 8 truck parts sales is a significant advantage. Basically, anyone who has knowledge of mechanical parts of the truck and trailer and their repairs.
- Graduates from technical institutes with mechanical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with brands such as Volvo, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, International, Cummins, and others.
- A strong understanding of systems like air brakes, after-treatment, engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, and general trucking knowledge.
- Knowledge of terms like "seventh injector," "4707s," "4711s," "SCR," "DPF," "EGR ACTUATOR," etc., is essential.
- Russian or Spanish language knowledge is a plus since many customers are from the EX Soviet Union or South America/Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting the right parts based on their requests.
- Manage inventory and handle backorders.
- Source parts via VIN numbers and input data into the system.
- Organize pickups and deliveries while ensuring the best prices and availability.
- Handle customer payments and other related tasks.
Essential Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts.
- Proven organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.
- A minimum of 1-year experience at a parts counter, technical school/college, a Fleet Manager in a Trucking Company or Commercial Truck Diesel Mechanic
