Eagle Hills, as a prestigious company, for its Belgrade office, is looking for an experienced professional to fill the following position:
Senior Accountant
Main responsibilities will include:
- Independent bookkeeping, controlling of payment and other documents
- Conduct regular review of trail balance, analyse various accounts and produce variance reports against the budget
- Preparation of monthly reports and financial statements in accordance with the regulations and internal and external requirements
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close process and consolidated accounting activities in accordance with the local GAAP
- Process VAT and tax returns
- Assist in auditing activities
- Managing payment transactions
- Responsibility for the proper management of all accounting records in accordance with accounting and internal regulations
- Developing and maintaining relationships and contacts with all relevant institutions: banks, the National Bank of Serbia, the Tax Agency, the Agency for Business Registers, etc.
- Develop advanced knowledge of accounting policies and procedures, financial systems, transaction processes and internal controls
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics or similar field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
- Knowledge of local and international legislation in finance and accounting
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting documents
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities
- Detailed oriented and systematic individual
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Active user of MS Office package
- Preferably experienced in using Oracle application
