Senior Architect

Job Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Understanding and Support: Understand and assist in interpreting Serbian planning regulations and architectural design approval procedures, ensuring all projects fully comply with local legal and regulatory requirements.
• Project Design and Execution: Lead the overall architectural design of projects, ensuring alignment with applicable standards and regulations. Act as the lead architect with authority to sign off during various government approval stages.
• Communication and Coordination: Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills by effectively engaging with clients, government authorities, partners, and internal teams across all project phases. Accurately convey design intent and adapt it to local regulations through localized design solutions.
• Construction Drawing and Site Experience: Proficient in construction drawing preparation and capable of close collaboration with construction teams to ensure smooth on-site implementation of the design.
• Design Innovation: Show creativity and innovation in providing architectural solutions across a wide range of building types, including industrial and logistics facilities.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on architectural design experience, preferably with completed projects in industrial or logistics buildings.
• Certification: Licensed architect, authorized to sign off as the lead architect during government approval processes in Serbia.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in architecture from a recognized university in Serbia or Western countries. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of architectural software tools including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and demonstrated expertise in construction drawing design.
• Local Experience: Proven on-site experience in Serbia with a solid understanding of local construction practices and standards.
