The successful candidate will join our Belgrade based Software Delivery Center and participate in the development of treasury system tailored for tier 1 corporates and banks.
What you will be doing
- Complete research and analysis to support the software development lifecycle
- Design/formalize and document functional and programming specifications according to established FIS standards and produce functional specifications for the development group
- Provide ongoing consulting and problem-solving support for the software development effort ranging from internal Dev, Product and QA teams to client delivery
- Develop test planning and participate in internal as well as client acceptance tests as a part of projects
- Keep abreast of evolving business needs and proactively arrange for development of the products to provide for these changes
- Train customer-facing staff on newly developed functionality
- Translate functional specs from Product Management into development user stories and tasks.
- Develop verification criteria for validating development user stories
- Documenting newly developed functionality with a focus on the how to utilize the software to achieve customer’s operational objectives
- Providing training to internal staff and external customers on realizing the value of our software
- Working with software development and product release teams to ensure timely delivery of targeted features
- Working in a SCRUM team
What you bring
- Bachelor/Master degree in Economics or similar field
- 5 + years of experience working in financial sector or software company with products for similar field. Greater experience in Treasury Management and accounting field of expertise
- Strong analytical and requirements gathering skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly and think clearly
- Consistent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly with team members and client staff
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize them accordingly
- Knowledge of finance and business concepts
- Ability to thrive in a teamwork environment
- Able to read business specifications and assess proposed functionality regarding feasibility and scope
- Fluency in English
