Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Draftsperson specializing in reinforcement to join our international team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed reinforcement drawings, coordinating with project teams, and supervising a team of draftspersons. This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Reinforcement Drafting:

• Work on interesting structural engineering projects
• Produce detailed reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules in accordance with engineering and construction standards.
• Ensure all reinforcement drawings comply with relevant codes and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers and other stakeholders to integrate reinforcement details into project drawings.
• Conduct thorough checks and reviews of reinforcement drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize software such as Allplan and AutoCAD or Revit

Team Supervision:

• Lead and supervise a team of draftspersons, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Assign tasks and manage workloads to ensure timely completion of projects.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of reinforcement drawings into overall project plans.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of drafting accuracy and compliance.
• Review and approve drawings produced by team members before submission.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues in reinforcement drawings.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in reinforcement drafting.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Technical Skills:

• High Proficiency in Allplan Nemetschek with minimum of 5 years of experience
• Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as the Eurocode.
• Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in English (German is an advantage)
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to addressing challenges.
