This is
what you’ll do:

Develop and maintain the back-end components of our automotive insurance application, utilizing your expertise in PHP and related frameworks (ZEND, Laravel)
Collaborate with the mobile development team to integrate APIs needed for mobile applications, also design and implement secure and scalable APIs to support data exchange between the mobile applications and the backend
Collaborate with other backend teams in the process of designing and developing server-to-server APIs and integrating business requirements
Optimize the application's performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the server-side code and database queries
Implement automated processes and systems to streamline workflows, such as data integration, reporting, or AI-based decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality features and enhancements on time
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in back-end development, automation, and AI, and proactively propose innovative solutions to improve the application
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding best practices; troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues independently and in collaboration with the team
Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer, with a strong focus on PHP development and related frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Zend)
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows (e.g., GitFlow)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Demonstrated experience in developing scalable and secure APIs
- Knowledge of automation principles and tools, with experience in designing and implementing automated processes is a plus
- Familiarity or interest with AI concepts, such as machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, or data analysis, and a strong interest in leveraging these technologies within the application
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members
- Proactive and self-driven, with a passion for staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
