We are looking for a highly motivated person for the position of Senior Sales Executive – Large & SME accounts.

The position is located in Belgrade, Milutina Milankovića 3V.

Job Title: Senior Sales Executive – Large & SME accounts 

Department: Business Developer 

Location & region: South-Eastern Europe

Job Purpose

Primary purpose of the role – briefly describe in one or two sentences why the job exists:
The Field Sales Executive is responsible to develop new as well as maintain existing business with large local key accounts and Small and Medium Enterprises accounts (SME) within his/her assigned geography.  This position will evaluate the local market regarding potential customers and opportunities across all industry sectors with substantial requirements for Logistics Solutions focused on Ground & Rail products according to the given parameters.  

Key Accountabilities

Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:

  • Evaluate the market regarding potential targets and business opportunities.
  • Management of customer portfolio, development of existing customers and
  • acquisition of new customers
  • Systematical approach regarding visits, phone calls, and negotiations with clients, preparation of presentation and quotations, price requests as well as RFQ handling 
  • Contract preparation and checking of contracts validity
  • Grow logistics spent against set targets for each business field.
  • Analysis of clients and competitors’ activities towards the client.
  • Consultative sales approach / cross selling, offering complete CEVA suite of products and services and involving additional sales resources (if needed)
  • Split of responsibilities: A)  Active Selling: 80 % (evaluate, qualify and pursue customers on her/his own), B)  Administrative Requirements: 20% (c-view, completes quotations processes, evaluation of new opportunities, qualification of target accounts) 

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

The knowledge, experience and skills required to undertake the level at a fully competent level:

Education & Qualifications
High school degree or Advanced University qualification specialising in Economics, Marketing, International commerce or Logistic area.

Experience
The ideal candidate should have at least 

  • 5 years experience within the International Freight, Transportation and Logistics industry.  
  • 3 years experience in Sales
  • Proven ability and experience in developing and closing new business opportunities.

Specialist Knowledge & Skills

  • Local market specifics
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Sales, Logistics/Transport market
  • Sufficient knowledge and experience to execute the duties and responsibilities as outlined above.
  • Computer Skills (MS Office) and Sales Force Automation tools

Interpersonal & Communication Skills

  • Very good communication and negotiating skills
  • Self-Motivated & able to work on own initiative
  • Very good language skills in English (verbal & written)

Other Information
Any additional information necessary to fully describe the role: 

  • Flexible and willing to travel
  • Valid Driver's License Category B
