Senior Security Engineer
Main responsibilities:
This position is for an experienced security engineer/cybersecurity op who has a strong background in designing and supporting secure network and server infrastructure.
The candidate must be able to work alone and as a part of the team in identifying and solving problems, finding and fixing security problems within computer networks; know how to contact and talk with multiple vendors and provide support to resolve potential problems; also, wide knowledge of security tools and known security holes and problems is mandatory.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in similar job positions
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Assessing the company's information security and its vulnerability.
- Creating secure systems and processes.
- Developing tools and automated processes to protect data.
- Identifying potential security threats and creating programs to prevent them.
- Educating employees about good information security practices and policies.
- Experience in security solutions like Anti-Malware Solution, Firewall, IPS, Email Security Solution
- Experience in integration of monitoring systems (CheckMK, PRTG, Grafana etc.).
- Experience in vulnerability management solutions like OpenVAS, Nessus.
- Participation in Security Architecture decisions on selecting vendor, interoperability of solutions and integration of new solutions.
- Supporting IT team in handling security incidents.
Following are optional but highly valued skills:
- Experience with centralized security logging solution (knowledge in ELK is an advantage).
- Experience with HP and Dell network equipment.
- Experience with different implementation of MFA solutions.
