Senior Software Developer with .NET, Tietoevry Banking

Join our Leasing team as a senior software developer and help our customers improve credit process performance and create true business value!

The position is full-time and based in Belgrade, Serbia.

Responsibilities

As a senior .Net developer you will work with software and services for customers within the banking and finance sector. You will contribute to design, implementation and delivery of advanced leasing solutions based on our credit software product ProFinance.

You will be part of a dynamic, motivated, and highly skilled agile team, with a clear customer focus. The role is vital to the customer experience and interacts with internal and customer stakeholders throughout critical phases of the project lifecycle.

The developer community has members from our Belgrade and Stockholm offices. This position is in Belgrade, Serbia.

In this role, you will contribute to building future-proof products that are designed to scale and evolve with changing technology needs. You will develop expertise in our credit handling solutions and their business logic, to efficiently bridge the gap between business and IT/development. As a developer you interact with internal and customer IT and business representatives in various project phases, e.g., pre-study, design, implementation, and test.

You will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex cloud applications using .NET technologies
• Implement and manage distributed data processing using Apache Kafka
• Develop and optimize database solutions with MongoDB
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to ensure robust and scalable architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality of the codebase

Must have:

• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of modern design patterns and microservices architecture
• 3-5 years of experience in software development using C#, Web services, .NET framework, Apache Kafka
• Knowledge of MS SQL/T-SQL & MongoDB
• Version control (TFS, Git)
• Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Service Broker, Message based systems and queues
• Knowledge of MVC, HTML5, CSS/SaSS, Javascript/Typescript, SSIS, SSRS
• Experience with financial/banking software
