Senior Structural Engineer

IES d.o.o. is an engineering Company based in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. It is a subsidiary company of Italferr S.p.A. (the Italian engineering and consulting Company part of the FS State Railways Group).   

Company IES d.o.o., is established in 2012, and provides high level and quality of multi-disciplinary design services and comprehensive designs in infrastructure and railway sector. The main activities are as follows: development and support to Feasibility study, Preliminary, Main and Detailed design, concerning: Structural design, Mechanical design, Electrical design, Alignment design, Hydraulic design, Design of railway systems, Construction supervision, Design review and verification, Technical assistance and Work supervision Consultancy services.

We are announcing a selection for the open position of: Senior Structural Engineer. 

Essential Requirements:   

• University degree from Faculty of Civil Engineering – Structural department (Master of Civil Engineering).
• Minimum experience of 10+ years in development of all phases of structural design for infrastructure facilities relevant to railways and road connections (such as bridges, culverts, engineering structures, retaining structures, buildings, industrial buildings…)
• Extensive experience of candidates in development of main or detailed structural design for infrastructure facilities from point above shall be considered as advantage.
• License as Chartered member of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers with relevant license no. (310 or equivalent) as Responsible structural engineer for design of civil structures for buildings, civil engineering and hydrotechnical engineering, is not mandatory but shall be considered as advantage.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools, AutoCAD, Software for static and dynamic analysis (such as Tower / SAP2000 / Midas).
• Analytical thinking and understanding with advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles, including load-bearing capacity, material properties, and design codes (e.g., Eurocodes, ASCE).
• Coordination of structural design activity and interface with engineers from other field of expertise. 
• Knowledge of BIM software such as Autodesk Revit is not mandatory, but could be considered as plus.
• Fluent speaking and writing in English language, knowledge of Italian language is not mandatory but shall be considered as an advantage.
