We are looking for a Service Operations IP Analyst to join our European Patent Validation team in Belgrade.
Role within the organization and Responsibilities:
- Responsible delivery of IP Services to clients while maximizing efficiency.
- The role provides the services across the IP lifecycle (with clients or internal teams) in order to manage data, support filing, prosecution, post-grant and administration related services.
- Build and manage relationships through outreach in cooperation with other teams across the Employer's group.
- The responsibility includes the obligation of the Employee to ensure that IP services are executed on time and in full in the area of his/her duties.
- Development and implementation of efficient processes to take advantage of evolving IP services in the area of the Employee's duties.
- Responsibilities will specifically include:
- Processing of communications such as formal acknowledgements of orders and completion of validation.
- Ensuring third party case & document management systems are updated accurately and timely.
- Preparation of standard reporting correspondence
- Cross checking instructions from clients to ensure all validation formalities have been processed correctly
- Monitor validation related deadlines on third party case management systems
- Liaising with various parties to obtain validation instructions or completion of other grant/validation formalities (e.g. retrieving Powers of Attorney) in a timely manner.
- Receiving, acknowledging, processing and reporting completion of validation requirements
- Monitoring unitary patent related deadlines on third party case management systems
- Liaising with various parties to obtain instructions or completion of other unitary patent formalities requirements and preparing necessary documents
- Assisting with management of IP renewals as necessary including processing official correspondence/ reminders
- The Employee is obliged to carry out all other works, as required by the nature of the job upon the Employer’s request.
Requirements:
- Work experience on the similar position will be considered as advantage
- Preferably University Degree
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- High attention to details, rigorous and customer-oriented attitude
- Organized and able to meet internal and official deadlines
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Basic Excel knowledge
- ABBYY reader knowledge will be considered as advantage.
Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, 40 working hours per week (standard Serbian working hours) with a hybrid mode of work.
