WHAT YOU CONTRIBUTE:
- State-recognized bachelor degree in Health and Nursing Care (EU/EEA or third countries) or
- diploma in healthcare and nursing or equivalent vocational training (only EU/EEA) or
- a third-country diploma in healthcare and nursing, that is already recognized in an EU member state or EEA, along with proof of at least three years of relevant professional experience there
- Certified German language proficiency at B1 level is absolutely required (e.g., Goethe-Institut, telc, ÖSD). This allows for temporary employment as a nursing (specialist) assistant until the B2 level is achieved
- Your willingness to complete a German B2 course, including exam, during employment
- Experience in the holistic care and nursing care of residents
- Experience in identifying care needs, creating care plans and implementing the care process
- Empathy in dealing with senior citizens and the very elderly
The monthly salary as a qualified healthcare and nursing professional is at least € 3.646,00 gross for full-time (1st calendar year) up to max. 4.934,60 gross (36st calendar year). With a B1 level of German or during the recognition procedure, the monthly salary as a specialized nursing assistant is at least € 3.390,60 gross (1st calendar year) up to max. 4.534,20 gross (36st calendar year) or as a nursing assistant at least € 3.164,70 gross (1st calendar year) up to max. 4.121,60 gross (36st calendar year). The salaries include fixed allowances, the care allowance limited to 2025 and plus any Sunday, public holiday and night bonuses. They are paid out 14 times a year. The collective agreement of Sozialwirtschaft Österreich (SWÖ-KV) applies. Relevant previous periods of service are recognised in full as an improvement on the SWÖ-KV.
