Position Overview
The Senior Optiviq (Honeywell) OptiVision Application Analyst is responsible for the support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of the OptiVision Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This role works cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and IT to ensure the system supports production planning, inventory, quality, and logistics processes. The ideal candidate combines deep technical understanding of OptiVision with a process-driven mindset and the ability to collaborate with business users to deliver system reliability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Application Support & Maintenance
- Provide day-to-day functional and technical support for OptiVision, including issue resolution, configuration, and system troubleshooting.
- Ensure system uptime and performance for critical operations including production, quality, inventory, and logistics.
- Monitor integration points between OptiVision and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP (SAP), WMS, PLC systems).
Enhancement & Optimization
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to drive system efficiency and business value.
- Design, configure, and test enhancements or new features in collaboration with Honeywell support or internal developers.
- Ensure alignment between business processes and system capabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirement Gathering
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders (operations, planning, inventory, quality control).
- Gather and document detailed requirements for new features, reports, or workflows.
- Translate operational needs into technical specifications and actionable development tasks.
Integration & Reporting
- Support and maintain data exchange interfaces between OptiVision and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Develop or support custom reports and dashboards for production, quality, or inventory insights.
- Collaborate with BI or data teams to enable visibility of operational KPIs.
System Upgrades & Projects
- Lead and support OptiVision upgrades, patches, or version migrations including testing, validation, and user training.
- Participate in enterprise-wide initiatives involving MES or manufacturing systems.
- Ensure compliance with IT security, audit, and change control processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Language: Fluent in English – level B2 or better
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or MES systems, with 3+ years focused on Optiviq (Honeywell) OptiVision
- Proven experience supporting production or supply chain operations through MES platforms
- Experience in system integration and interface management between MES and ERP systems
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of OptiVision modules and architecture
- Experience with database queries (SQL), scripting, and data integration
- Familiarity with manufacturing workflows (inventory, production, QA, scheduling)
- Understanding of MES-to-ERP data flows and real-time operations environments
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent tasks under pressure
