The job is to be based out of the Bor Field office.

Experience in the exploration or mining would be an asset but not necessary.  This position requires a good command of spoken and written English as well as experience and/or education in accounting and general business practices.  This position will potentially have room for professional growth. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is to receive, verify, and process invoices for approval and payment, with a strong focus on process improvement and operating efficiency.
• Process petty cash requests.
• Process journal entries to ensure a proper recording of all business transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare payments using an online banking system.
• Assist with year-end audit requests from external auditors.
• All other tasks and duties as assigned to support the team and department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Accounting degree, certificate or professional designation would be an asset.
• Minimum 5-year experience.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to focus on details.
• Can communicate in a clear, friendly and professional manner with coworkers and supervisors.
• Good command of the English language and writing skills.
